As the Gym & Wellness Coordinator, you will help deliver a seamless, engaging and personalised fitness and wellness experience that reflects Earth Hotels’ lifestyle identity. You will play a hands-on role in daily operations, welcoming and guiding guests, coordinating activities and ensuring our wellness spaces are always ready to enjoy.

Working closely with the Gym & Wellness Manager, you will support the delivery of wellness programmes, guest engagement and service standards, while acting as their deputy when required. Combining genuine hospitality with practical fitness knowledge, you will help make wellness an enjoyable and memorable part of the Earthling journey.

What on Earth Will You Do?

• Welcome guests and members, ensuring a warm, personalised and seamless wellness experience.

• Assist with enquiries, facility access, reservations, payments and general guest requirements.

• Provide information and recommendations on fitness classes, personal training, recovery services and other wellness experiences.

• Build positive relationships with guests and members, encouraging participation and repeat visits.

• Respond promptly to guest feedback and service concerns, escalating matters where appropriate.

• Conduct gym inductions, introducing guests and members to the facilities, equipment and safe usage guidelines.

• Deliver body composition analysis and fitness assessments using Technogym Checkup, following established procedures and training.

• Explain assessment results within the scope of qualifications and recommend appropriate fitness and wellness services.

• Demonstrate basic equipment use and assist guests with general fitness enquiries.

• Maintain accurate assessment records and support follow-up activities to encourage engagement and conversion.

• Coordinate daily reservations, attendance, cancellations, waiting lists and guest communications for personal training, group exercise and other wellness activities.

• Liaise with freelance instructors, personal trainers and other external providers to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Monitor class schedules, facility readiness and equipment availability, coordinating with Wellness Attendants and relevant hotel departments.

• Complete opening and closing checks, ensuring all wellness areas are clean, organised, safe and guest-ready.

• Maintain accurate booking, attendance, guest feedback and incident records in accordance with established procedures and data protection requirements.

• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or operational concerns promptly.

• Act as the Gym & Wellness Manager's deputy, overseeing daily operations and making routine operational decisions during their absence.

• Coordinate daily activities and task allocation for Wellness Attendants and external service providers.

• Support the implementation of wellness programmes, events, promotions and guest engagement initiatives.

• Monitor guest feedback, class attendance, facility utilisation and opportunities to promote additional wellness services.

• Follow up on outstanding operational issues, maintenance requests and guest concerns, escalating significant matters when required.

• Support the Gym & Wellness Manager in maintaining service standards, operational procedures and health and safety compliance.

• Remain flexible and hands-on, assisting with wellness activities and delivering classes where appropriately qualified.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What on Earth Do You Bring?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a gym, fitness club or wellness environment, ideally guest-facing. Hotel wellness or boutique fitness experience is a plus.

• Relevant fitness qualification or solid knowledge of gym equipment, fitness assessments and safe exercise practices, with valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification. REPs UAE registration, a group exercise qualification or Technogym Checkup experience is an advantage.

• A warm, proactive and hands-on approach to guest service, with strong communication skills.

• Confidence working independently and stepping in for the Gym & Wellness Manager, including coordinating attendants and external instructors, with a good grasp of health and safety and service standards.

• Comfortable with digital booking systems and admin, and flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
